Training
Training and compliance is a key part of Matthews & Leigh’s business. The company is dedicated to making sure every member of its workforce has the relevant training certificates and is highly qualified in the work they are doing.
Training is continuously reviewed – not only to help develop the skills of the workforce, but to make sure compliance is kept up to date, meets clients’ and legal requirements.
Matthews & Leigh deliver training through its own accreditations and by engaging with industry partners that specialise in the needs and demands for construction.
Compliance with mandatory industry schemes such as CSCS, CPCS and NPORS is continuously maintained. Company skills and compliance is further endorsed by courses and qualifications such as:

- NVQ in Plant Operations
- NVQ in Construction Operations
- Streetworks
- Confined Space
- Location and Avoidance of Buried Services
- Face Fit
- Use of Small Plant
