Matthews & Leigh takes its commitment to health and safety
extremely seriously.
To help ensure compliance with current legislative requirements and to assist both clients and principal contractors, the company has engaged a civil engineering health and safety consultancy since July 2007.
Check Safety Services Ltd is appointed as Competent Person in accordance with the Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations, advising on all matters in relation to health and safety at work.
All projects carried out by Matthews & Leigh are subject to site specific risk assessments and methods statements.
Where Matthews & Leigh is appointed as principal contractor, Check Safety Services Ltd provide Construction Phase Plans and all necessary CDM documentation as well as pre-start check lists to help achieve full compliance from the project start.
To verify the level of health and safety compliance, Matthews & Leigh are accredited with industry recognised standards Construction Line and SMAS/Worksafe.
