Willow Grove, Leyland, Lancashire (COMPLETED)

Willow Grove is a development of 17, 4 and 5 bedroom detached family homes, set in the  location of Farrington Moss.

Matthews & Leigh installed the infrastructure for this site, comprising the main line sewers and manholes, along with the full road construction to the tarmac base course level. It has a total of 160 m of main drainage using up to and including 1200 mm diameter pipes and a total of 400 sm of road area over the site.

Site footpaths are to be constructed once all the houses are built and the external works complete.

The ground works package for the housing consisted of plot foundations in a concrete trench fill design, domestic drainage to each dwelling and installation of the service ducts for the mains services (gas, water, electric, BT and Virgin Media).
