Scholars Gate, Haskayne, Nr Ormskirk (COMPLETED)

A scheme of 45 individually detached three, four and five bedroom homes situated on the outskirts of Ormskirk in the village of Haskayne.

Matthews & Leigh was instructed to build the roads and install the sewers and plot foundations, which comprised of a total of 450 m of main drainage, using up to 375 mm diameter pipes and 1680 sm of road area over the site.

Several of the plots had a requirement for a 175 mm beam and block design for the foundations, in lieu of the standard in-situ poured concrete suspended slabs.
